Reminiscences…

© Written by Tarang Sinha

Solitude opened the skylight…
… Of the past,
And the veiled reminiscences…
… Tiptoed silently.
Sunshine of warmth
Velvet Breeze of smiles
Drizzles of tears.
Gush of laughter.
Made the heart…
… Brimming with nostalgia.
A vague contour…
 …tried to take shape.
A forgotten feeling…
…contrived to burgeon.
Emotions residing…
…in a corner of heart
Struggled to peep.
Memories quiescent…
…somewhere in mind
Emerged quietly.
Perhaps,
Bygone never elapsed,
Just stayed dormant.
Loneliness evoked it
Yet again.

  3. ha! 'tis a warning for us all not to be too nostalgic, demons may follow and they tend to linger more than the laughter grr.

    Enjoy the rally, nice penning!

  10. Like a list of so many reminders of memories. Loved the poem until 'Bygone never elapsed
    Just stayed dormant.
    Loneliness evoked it
    Yet again.'
Did you mean 'Bygone never elapsed,
    Merely dormant.
    Loneliness evoked it
    Yet again.'?

  11. I think I meant ‘Just…’ But yes I forgot to put a comma after elapsed. Corrected. Thanks for the sharp observation.
