Quick Pencil Sketches

I miss my painting days. It's been 20 days since I painted properly. Painting in watercolours or acrylics requires preparation ___collecting the art materials, water, some interrupted time and all that. For some reasons, I am not able to do that. So, I am trying few quick pencil sketches.

Also, I have realized that I do not enjoy sketching still life, single object. I like sketching scenes that probably tell a story?

So, here I am sharing my sketches. I may look childish, as I am not good at sketching but please say something about them, good, bad, tips anything...and do these sketches tell any story?

  2. Good morning, I am just learning to play with different paints-all new to me as I am mostly a fiber artist. I love your sketches-I haven't tried that yet-want to do that and then paint over with watercolors I thing it's good for us to just "do it" hugs

    1. Yes, you're right. Do whatever we can. Yes, painting them with watercolours would make them striking. Will try. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. Stay well. :) <3

  3. grrrr I just wrote a long comment and it disappeared... grrrr
I think it was something like this... I love the mood you captured, the essence of the image, your style is great. On sketching birds, I learned to look at the image, and do a quick half circle sketch of the end of the tail, a half circle where top of head would be, then slowly fill in. Makes it easier I think.
