Secrets...

It is said that:
Fear not for the past
Weep not for the future
You better live in the present

But

Secrets
Layered within the sheets of life
Some locked
Some stare mysteriously
Almost ready to leap out, anytime
To shock us or sometimes surprise us pleasantly
You never know
What life can present you with...

Fearing and weeping is totally worthless. True! But, I think we should remember our past to learn from our faults. We can extract wisdom from it so that they prevent us from repeating them. We become experienced. And wiser. We can walk in life with 'minimum' mistakes onward.

And no matter what, but we tend to plan our future. At some point of time we definitely need to do some planning. Actually, we do try to take wise decisions in present, being learnt from the past and to make our future better.

So, try to gain from the flaws of past as much as you can and be prepared for the shots of future.

  3. "Secrets
Layered within the sheets of life . . . ." Secrets can be very painful if they are really threats in disguise? How then to lock on to the present. Moral, do not invest in secrets.

  4. Some secrets are best kept as a secret, while others are best if they are told. Imagine if the secrets of all the horrible things Hitler had done were kept a secret from the world. Would we be doomed to let it happen again and again, which I think in some ways it is happening again by a whole other group of people against another group of people.

But the thing is that if we realize this is happening then maybe we can do a better job of trying to stop it.

You are so correct in that we cannot "Fear not for the past" because what is done is done and cannot be undone. And if we were to weep for the future then nothing would ever get done and the future would be lost.

We do only have the hear and now, this minute, this second of our lives, for in a minute this minute will be the past and this minute which was once our future has made the next minute our future. All we can ever do is learn from our past mistakes and pray that we are smart enough to use them to improve our present moments and our future.

We have to love and live for each moment that we are in for we never know if it will be our last.

I really like what you have written and it really does make one think.

Thank you ever so much for sharing these thoughts with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. May your present moments be happy, happy ones that are full of blessings.

    God bless.
