Happiness is waiting ahead!

Feeling happy is a mistake
Expressing it is a sin
Expectations evaporate ruthlessly
Wishes often go into the trash bin

I know it's my fault
Destiny is not to be blamed always
Everything will be fine someday
Embers of stubborn hope says

Series of troubles exhausts life
Getting harsh sunlight no shade
Wan smile pats and indicates
Happiness is waiting ahead!

  6. I like the way you ended on a positive note - Happiness waits ahead. And I love "stubborn Hope" - thank goodness that hope is stubborn.

  7. Happiness is forever attainable, hopes can be dashed - so it is good we are stubborn.

Wishes are lost dreams and very rarely come true - so I tend not to wish, rather be grateful for what I have. This brings contentment.

    Kind regards

  14. I relate to happiness always being something out of reach and juggling everything else while waiting to grasp it. Need that hope that it's there for sure.
