Silvery Hue

Snow Avalanche Wallpaper

Hope flickers in the
Sky, just like golden sunbeams
After hazy dawn

Avalanche of snow
Blankets the hills, reflecting
Fine silvery hue

  4. I rather suspect that those who are buried by avalanches don't think of them as blankets! :)

  6. I like this because I can feel the stinging cold in my face when I read it. Love the photo too!

  7. @ Magical Mystical Teacher: I'm NOT calling it blanket....It also means to cover something completely...so it's just an expression:)

@ Whitesnake: It's frozen water that falls to the ground from the sky in the form of soft white flakes in extremely cold places:)

    @ Me: Thanks a lot!:)

    @ David: Thanks!:)

  8. I like both haiku very much, but the first one, the encouragement of hope, is a delight.
